It is officially festival announcement time and one of the most exciting ones this year is So What?! Music Festival in Dallas.
This year’s lineup for So What?! is full of amazing artists and some amazing reunion acts. The two-day festival is set to take place June 24 and 25 at Dallas’ Fair Park. Headliners for Saturday night are The Used and Pierce The Veil. Sunday night has Sleeping With Sirens and Neck Deep with their only 2023 US festival appearance, as well as Thursday playing War All The Time in its entirety.
Those were just the headliners. The rest of the announcement is just as impressive with the reunions of Head Automatica, Forever The Sickets Kids, The Color Morale, Woe, Is Me, Maylene & The Sons of Disaster, and an actual Breathe Carolina set, and not just a DJ emo night-style set. There are more acts that are sure to bring back your Warped Tour/Myspace nostalgia days such as Alesana, ’68, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, He Is Legend, Don Bronco, Girlfriends, Upon A Burning Body, and so so many more amazing artists of this style.
There will also be a decent amount of hip-hop acts including Oliver Francis, Jasiah, Lil Darkie, Freddie Dredd, and Jeleel!, just to name a few.
This year, Third String Productions have teamed up with Disco Donnie Productions in order to help book larger acts and also make this festival bigger with a better experience for everyone from fans to artists. With it moving more centrally to Dallas, and not one of the Fort Worth suburbs like previous years, it will make it easier on hotels and also traveling from airports.
The festival, like in previous years, blends all genres of music and will have four stages this year. The final stage has yet to be announced yet and will have more of the metal and hardcore acts so be on the lookout for that announcement coming soon.
