Rich is a New York City native. Growing up, the bustling streets of such a diverse community laid the foundation for his need of exploration. As a young kid he became captivated by heavy metal and not long after he discovered the hardcore/punk scene. Photography became a new love for him years later, where he spent his free time documenting the urban culture of the city, particularly the LES. Once he started shooting live music, that was it he had the best of both worlds.
