The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival is just around the corner and some last minute changes have had to be made to the lineup.
Celebrating its 50th year, the festival will take place at The Fairgrounds Race Course and Slots in New Orleans, LA. The festival covers two weekends starting April 25th and running through May 5th. Dozens of acts will play on twelve stages during New Orleans’ biggest celebration of food, art, and music.
The first weekend sees such diverse acts as Earth, Wind, & Fire on Thursday, Santana on Friday, Katy Perry on Saturday, and Van Morrison on Sunday.
After both The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac pulled out due to health reasons, Widespread Panic has stepped in to headline the start of the second weekend on Thursday. Chris Stapleton will headline Friday, Dave Matthews Band Saturday, and Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue with the Nevilles will close out the festival Sunday.
Jazz Fest offers three VIP packages, the Big Chief VIP experience, the Grand Marshal VIP pass, and Krewe of Jazz Fest VIP pass. They also offer many special hotel rates, a Festival Shuttle, and discount airline codes. Visit https://www.nojazzfest.com for details.
