Interview with Patrick Droney

We were lucky enough to get the chance to sit down with Patrick Droney to chat about his new album, Subtitles for Feelings.

Patrick Droney made a huge impact when he released his debut album State of the Heart in 2021. Expectations were high for what would come next from the talented writer, songwriter, and guitarist and it’s fair to say that he lived up to those expectations with his new release Subtitles for Feelings.

We spoke with Patrick about the process of writing the new album, why being involved in production is such an important part of his process, and how he found working with some of the amazing collaborators involved with the writing and production of this album. We also spoke about Patrick’s experience of volunteering with Musicians on Call, a charity for which we are currently raising money as we travel across the US.

You can check out our coverage of Patrick’s show at the Grog Shop in Cleveland here.
