Top Ten Photos of 2025

Our team of photographers picks their top ten images from their last twelve months of show coverage for Loud Hailer Magazine.

It’s that time of year again, when you look back at the year behind you, as well as look forward to what is to come.

All of us at Loud Hailer Magazine would like to thank you all for following us throughout 2025. This year saw us expand our coverage of shows in Ireland and Germany. Thank you for joining us on our journey in 2025. We look forward to sharing more concert coverage and music news with you all in 2026.

This year was packed with so many tours, they certainly kept us all busy! With a lot of big tours already announced for 2026, we can’t wait to see what else lies ahead for next year.

GARY PAHLOW
Gary covers shows in Detroit, MI, for us, and has enjoyed attending shows such as Myles Kennedy, Nothing More, Kerry King, Municipal Waste, and more.

GEORGE ORTIZ
George enjoys covering shows in the sunnier climate of California, primarily Los Angeles and San Diego. He covered festivals such as Ohana Fest and BottleRock. George’s top ten photos of 2025 include the following of Benson Boone, Def Leppard, Green Day, Wet Leg, and more.

JENA MCSHANE
Jena also covers shows in the Detroit and Lansing areas of Michigan, and has enjoyed shows by Don Was and the Pan-Detroit Ensemble, Gary Clark Jr, and Postmodern Jukebox.

KERRI NELSON
Kerri typically covers shows in the Boston area, but also had fun this year covering The Vans Warped Tour festivals in Washington D.C. and Orlando. Her favorite photos of 2025 include shots of The Used, Creed, Sublime, and AFI.

KIRSTINE WALTON
Kirstine has covered shows in Chicago such as Mammoth WVH, Bush, Wu-Tang Clan, Run The Jewels, and Tom Morello. She also got to cover Grace Potter’s show at the new venue in the city, Garcia’s. 2025 also saw the return of Jason Isbell’s festival, Shoals Fest, in Florence, AL. If that doesn’t call for a road trip, we don’t know what does!

LAURYN SINGLETARY
It’s no surprise that Austin is thought of as “The Live Music Capital of the World,” and Lauryn is lucky to be in the middle of it all, capturing it for you. Some of her favorite shows included Of Monsters and Men, Dierks Bentley, Big Time Rush, and Jessie Murph.

SAMI LIPP-MOSIER
Detroit-based Sami has had the pleasure of capturing shows such as Nita Strauss, The Struts, Volbeat, Betty Who, and many more. Check out her favorite photos of 2025 here:

We look forward to bringing you more music news and live show coverage in 2026! Thank you for joining us!
